​PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy for hair loss involves injecting a concentration of a patient's own platelets into the scalp to stimulate hair follicles. Platelets contain growth factors that help promote healing and cellular repair, which can lead to thicker hair and increased hair density. The procedure starts with a blood draw, followed by centrifugation to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then injected into the scalp in a series of treatments.
